1/9 – 11 Kooky Comedy Cabaret The Texas Repertory Theatre 14243 Stuebner Airline Rd. Thursday 7:30 pm, Friday and Saturday 8:00 pm The Texas Repertory Theatre Co. has partnered with J & D Entertainment to bring a Las Vegas-style cabaret show to our stage. The Kooky Comedy Cabaret is a showcase of Houston’s world-class talent, featuring the stellar vocalists, hilarious comedians, and other performers who call Houston their home. Also included on the bill is special guests ComedySportz, and improvisational comedy team. Tickets to this outstanding show are $35, with Texas Repertory Theatre subscribers receiving an additional $5 discount on admission.

Berry Center 8877 Barker Cypress, Cypress 7:00 - 9:00 pm Parents of gifted students from Houston area schools are invited to attend a summer camp exposition geared specifically for gifted students. Representatives from camps in the Houston area and beyond will be presenting summer camp information to parents of GT students. This event is made possible by the collaborative efforts of members of the Houston Area Cooperative for the Gifted & Talented.

2/7 “Salute to Our Heroes” Northwest Forest Conference Center 12715 Telge Road, Cypress, TX 6:30 pm -9:00 pm Salute to Our Heroes will honor the brave men and women who have served to preserve our freedom and liberty. Proceeds from this event will go to an endowment in the memory of fallen soldiers, enabling graduating students from CFISD to attend college. The Cy-Fair Educational Foundation invests in the future by providing scholarship funds for qualified students seeking education beyond high school and by funding instructional programs for CFISD. Drop by the club to fill out an entry form and weigh-in the week before Thanksgiving and weigh-out the week of January 1st.
